I notice it's slow at work, but it's been very quick at home...I've assumed it's just office traffic bogging things down...

work is shared business-class DSL, home is roadrunner cable.

I DO know that all the viruses running around are wreaking havoc on net speeds...I probably get 10 or more a day between my two accounts. (30-50k attachments..uugh)

I have gone thru many of the forum graphics and "simplified" them into 3 color .png files....cut many of the file sizes by 75% or better. However, taking a 1000 byte file and knocking it to 250 bytes isn't gonna make/break transfer speeds.

I'll "pull" the adserver banner for a day-two and see if that makes a difference...

just changed the banner invocation from javascript (slow) to iframes (mucho quicker) Hopefully, that speeds everything up....

I noted I was lightening quick at home last night, and again this morning...then the office filled up about 7:30 and it's been a crawl since....apparrently, I need to start eliminating fellow employees...hehehe
