Keep getting logged out

Hey Folks,

Every time I log on here and read posts for a while I eventually get the message 'you are not logged on'. Seems it defaults to automatic log off after 30 minutes or so. How do I correct this? Looked at the User CP, no option for this.

I'm using Opera 8.5 on Windows 98 SE, set for deleting cookies at program exit.

check the forum FAQ - there are tricks in there to staying logged in...also make sure you check the "remember me" box when you do log in....

possible the cookie setting will screw things up too....the forum timeout is 30 minutes for activity...

OK I deleted the cookies from the forum and from Opera. Will see how it goes. But how do I adjust the default timeout of 30 minutes to 'daily', 'on exit' or 'never' like on other forums?

once you've check the box when you log in, it should never toss you out...

if it does, then it's something with the browser....I "never" get logged out unless I do it manually.
