Friends of Tall Corn
Just a thought I had last night.
What about doing a Friends of Tall Corn, associate membership. For those folks that like to hang out with us, but don't drive Toys. They would have no vote and would have to attend one of our gatherings every year. $5 would be their "membership" fee.
Thoughts?

What would be the reasoning for REQUIRING attendance at one event?
I mean- if they want to toss us some cash but then never show up- who cares? Officially- I'm a member of West Virginia's TLCA as well. Never been to an event or meeting....

It's not about the cash, it's about the people. If these folks want to hang out with Tall Corn folks, aka Andy Stock, Dave Riley, Brian "I got a hole in my tire" Moore, etc. then let's incorporate them. As Casey Campbell once said, it's not about the trucks, it's about the people. There's a lot of wizz-dumb in that statement.
P.S. You ever going to post up some pics of you and the rest of your co-workers getting your arses handed to in paintball...

I guess my problem is with the word 'require'. I mean- if they want to join, they'll come to an event. But sometimes life happens, and stuff gets in the way. If they feel like they HAVE to attend, it'll be a chore.
The local club here requires that members attend 2 events per year. One of the things I have issue with.

Let me re-phrase that. When I mean come to an event, that could be anything from a meeting to a campout or an actual wheeling event.

I think just gracing you with my presence at your events is good enough . I think you YOTA boys need to stick together and keep us JEEP "COOL" kids out of your club .

Not to be a stickler, cause I'm not one to beatch...but this is something that we should probably decide at our meeting and add to our bylaws. Not everyone get's out this way for discussions as often as some of us goobs do.
And yes, 1"-40" and 42" or higher tire sizes are acceptable. Who runs 41's?
