This is a great event to attend and a lot of fun and FREE (after donating a toy)
MIOBI Toys 4 Tots Weekend
Maybe we could co-ordinate DIRT and this...

Maybe Steph and I can find a sitter for the weekend and head down. I had one heck of great time at this event last year. And it's another excuse to go wheeling...

Just a heads up, we are going to be doing another PowerTank raffle at Toys for Tots. Same deal as GATOR, $10/ticket, same setup as we had at GATOR. All money made is going back to buy more Toys!
Show up peeps! This is a great cause and helps support children in Iowa!

Brooke and I should get there early Sat morning. Not sure if we are staying the night.
I rather doubt it.

So who is all in?
The powertank showed up today, and just so you know, you can pre-sell tickets if you know anyone that might be interested. All you need to do is bring the $10 for each ticket with their name and phone number. This is for a really good cause folks.
Weather is suppose to get better on Friday and should be dry by noon on Saturday (after the big dawgs go out and get through the muck).
Also, Saturday night, for those interested, we are doing a Costume Ball for the adults and Trick or Treatin for the kids, as well as an RC Rock Crawl Competition...should be a fun weekend. Bring the kids down even if you don't plan on wheeling.

Yes, if it quits raining for more than a few hours, it drys up fast down there. It can go from soupy to tacky is just 3-4 hours if it's warm-ish. Of course, if it's cloudy and cold, it could take a few hours more.
I've got the toys, I have my RC stuff packed up (heh, bringing 3 diff sets of wheels\tires, mud, rocks and bashing) and trailer hooked to the tow rig. I won't be able to load things until morning and so I won't get there until mid-morning.
Oh well. Should be a fun time!!!

Great video, good climb up the rock. Seems like the shorter vehicles have an easier time. Being narrow enough to fit between the rocks helps alot. I've seen alot of wider rigs struggle because they have to get at least one side up on the rocks. Fun Stuff.
I've gone down it a couple of times, but haven't tried to get up. I will at some point now that I have rocker protection.
Good note on the video about the drop off, you can't see it in the vid but it's a big enough to flop your rig I bet.
Here's my last trip down after installing the sliders... but didn't even touch them on the rocks!
Youtube Linky
EDIT: Oh, and it's called "Slab Rock" I think, on the map.

Un-official stats:
108 trucks, 209 people, ~2100 in toys donated, another 550 dollas from the powertank raffle for toys for tots. Oh, and Mr. Brant also won one of the PT consolation prizes (not sure witch one).
Thanks to all the TCC folks that were able to attend. There was a TON of Toy's there that are not TCC folks...
...And El Presidente Electoro's brother (iroc69)...Tony has the mini-dvds and will be working on getting them "finalized" so we can all see your killer burnout on double whammy in it's infinite glory...so now stop your wine-in.

WOOO HOOOOO!! Come on 50% off!!! <fingers crossed>
Brian, my dad has the camera - he should be bringing it up this weekend, and then I will mail the discs back to Art after saving them myself. I might be able to get my stepmom to upload them to Youtube if you want. If they're not too huge, I may be able to email them, but I expect that they will be gargantuan files.....let me know. Thanks.
Tony

You got the attachments working, ur just like a kid with all those gadgets! Crimminy, I think only Art is close to you in that respect (alot of gadgets).
But gadgets are good and Tony completely cleared the crack, much better than many rigs I've seen. The flex on his rig kept all the wheels on the ground at all times, I don't think I saw him lift a wheel at all.
Not like you and me Larry, with the shorter wheelbases. We lift a wheel here and there. And of course, when my rig starts "singing", then I know I'm flexed out.
