If you need mags there are some great buys right now, as low as $1 a mag. Think I have almost 50 now.....

Use the 2 setting on the drum for everything out to 100 yards. I am going to add optics soon, prolly IOR, really impressed me.

Or you could just buy a Greek Sar 8 that is made with HK factory tooling and have a "real" 91 for 1000 bucks.

OK.........that damn SP89 is just WAY to much fun.....one hour and 500 rounds latter.....I love it

really very accurate for what it is and not having a stock, I was takin out the center of the target at 25yards firing off hand......damn if I could only have a stock.

Oh.....its also kinda loud, the range office came over to see what 44 mag I was shootin......he was suprised when he saw the 89

Greg.....your gonna dig it (oh and as your in a free state, you can make it a SBR)

John, I'm already looking at the Form 1 thing to get the ball rolling. And (somewhere) I already have a K-grip for the bad boy.

The yugos and the chinese also have a problem with the firing pin getting stuck and causing slamfires. They also have many more parts that are stamped VS milled. I realize that we are talking a sub 200 dollar rifle here, but if your going to spend your money.....

Hey pimp....why dont you get one of those badass briefcases for it that you can actually shoot the weapon out of? You know....trigger on the handle. That would be ....well......pimp.

i've heard the opposite also.
the yugo's are the closest copies of the ruskies. they also seem to actually be beefer then the russians. their only real down side is the lack of a chromed bore, i'm ok with that.

Yep, the K-grip, if installed, would require an AOW (All Other Weapons) NFA registration. It's the cheapest of the registrations though, not nearly as much as the $200 fee to get the SBR registration.

One of the reasons I'm getting the BW89 is because I am going to do the SBR with it rather than for the HK 94. I'm gonna leave the 94 completely original. I think I'll get a B&T stock for the BW89 and, when the NFA registrations come back, put the stock and the K-grip on that bad boy. In the meantime, it's single-point sling all the way. LOL!

I'll keep my PSG1 and HK91, but is it now legal to convert the post ban thumbhole stock rifles to a 91 configuration, eg with regular pistol grip, stock and flash hider?

Umm, I was a tad jeolous reading about the SP89's, but now I'm just green with Envy. Assuming I had the funds, I still could get any of the above listed fun toys here in the PRK. As least I was able to acquire a nice Colt H-bar prior to the last ban.!!!

used gubs rock!!

this must have been somebody's service revolver. the right grip shows a good bit wear. it's worn down atleast 1/16" compared to the left that has "deep" checkering. i need to try and get a pro date of it.
and the frame around the grips is missing almost all it's finish however the area is showing a nice "browning". the rest of it though is showing 95-100% finish. the bore has been well taken care of.

man, i've wanted one of these slender barrel model 10's for awhile now.
the things larger than i thought it would be too. it actually takes up more room than a full size 1911, both in length and width.

I can hook you up with a guy who can sell you an M4 carbine (about $1400), non-prohobited, non restricted, classified as simply a rifle, totally legit, semi auto only, of course. Good guy, he can probably courrier it to you if you're not interested in driving to the Kootenay's to pick it up PM me if you are interested.

oh yeah, he can get the over-under 12gua. kit for it too, and the grenade launcher too, no grenades, of course you can get practice grenades, or use it as a rope launcher.. I believe thre is a .30 cal changeover kit for this too.

Had to ditch my trusty old Webley MkV before I moved down here, but now, I can get whatever I want, all I need is a drver's license. Wheee! Thank you "moses"!
Got my eye on another Webley, and a Walther, can't seem to find an FN-C1 though...

Brian, I carried a forty-year-old Model 10 through the police academy. Similar to yours in that, it had been someone else's carry gun--with the right grip worn down from long holster carry. That sucker sure shot straight. Thanks for bringing back a pleasant memory.
