Gubs?

am I the only one who gets annoyed when I read the term "gub"?

like "gun" is a dirty word that one should hide?

Yea, yea, I'll be called paranoid or obsessed but I don't think we should contribute even more to the already-planned-for "evilization" of guns by the antis...

here: gun, rifle, weapon, arm, handgun, semi-auto, auto, assault rifle (ooooh.... evil that one), pistol, revolver, carbine, shotgun, cannon, musket, flintlock... there you go!

Uh, I don't think anyone is hiding anything, I think they're making a funny on a common mis-typing, with the "b" and "n" being right next to each other.

But I think you're spot-on with the paranoia.

This was discussed a couple of weeks ago. It dated back to a certain individual (I don't remember who) that couldn't get it right. So as Cdan said, it has been accepted and abused.

I've got a room in the house, which I refer to as "The Arsenal of The Republic". And there are dozens of gubs in there--big ones, small one's, stainless, blued, new, and old. Damn, I love gubs.

That happened to me (and 100's of others) back in boot long ago, and long before that movie came out too.
