I love those older Sigs. My dad has a P226 that he carried on duty and I can't get him to let it go. I would definitely choose an older model vs. some of the new products they're putting out.

he didnt mention it came in the old cardboard box as well(test target maybe?). We both got what I thought were the best of the 18 that came in. All but 1-2 were W. German guns.
well have more used USPs coming in the next month, prolly 40cals
also have 1-2(had 6 or 8) of the 2008 NIB USPf 45acp, with night sites, 1x12rd mag, all the stuff. Can make it a righty or lefty for no charge or upgrade to whatever trigger system for just the cost of the parts. We can sell only these 1-2 to anyone as we sold them once to the agency, they traded them in so while BRAND NIB we can sell them as used, which gets us around the HK LE contract we have.
Also we can sell Kahrs(mostly PM and P) to anyone, our prices are about the best you will find, same with Mossberg LE line.
thanks again to all that have picked up something from LEED, pretty sure everyone has been pleased and if not let me know. I know I have enjoyed helpiing my Mud Gub Buds

Nice! Looks exacty the same as the first handgun I ever bought. Mine's made in W German in 79.
I can't believe how smooth those guns operate. Its like a lexus. Its good to know some people understand how awesome those things really are.

Test fired with 230 gr ball.
Functioned flawlessly. Accurate.
For those who have not shot a P220, the recoil is moderate and controllable, follow up shots are easy, the gun is quite ergonomic, and the controls are simple and easy to use. Field stripping is super easy.

Note that the letter I is not used.
The date code on my old P220 is J6, which is '86.
The "new" one from Landpimp is KC, which is '92.

had a chance to mess with a few of the worst looking of the 220s, I took some Super Blue® Liquid Gun Blue to them, just whiped/rub the slide and levers, wipe down with G36(to stop it from rusting latter) and they look like NEW, and it lasts(says Doug), I guess this only works on certain metals.........Sig being one.
I had just finsihed one, when to Sig nuts(and I mean nuts) came in......they look at the 2 I just did and said they were like new....then I showed them
to shine it up, rub in some oil or lube.

well I'll be.......I traded into a mint Browning BDA 45 with 2 mags  (and the nice thing is the Sig 220 mags we have also work in the healer, but not the otherway around.
almost pulled the trigger on a P-210 tranistion model...but didnt feel like spending 2K(even though it was worth it, had the holster and all)

Browning BDA.... haven't seen one since I was a teenager. I always thought they looked like something the Wehrmacht would be issuing as a last stand pistol in 1945.
One advantage to the BDA.... If you pocket carry, you'll never have to worry about something bumping the mag release and partially releasing the mag, causing a second round misfeed.
Just don't break the grips. They're made of unobtanium.

its the same as a 220, just a healer with a different grip frame(which I like better than the 220)
the slide on the BDA is blued not matte like a 220
see I live healers......P7's, GB, P9s, 230 etc ect

Ditto experience on my 220. Love that gun. The only handgun I shoot better is my 226.

The BDA slide is also machined differently in contour too, though functionally and internally it is the same.
