Nice Alberta wolf

Thought folks might enjoy this story and the pics...isn't me ... I have never been close to a wolf when I have a rifle....same luck with bears!

CanadianGunNutz.com

sorry ... have added pics below

Was a photo of a wolf some time ago that looked a little too big ... this one is right .. and still pretty impressive!

You sure that's a wolf? It sure looks like my last Malamute.

no collar, no tags, no license, no rabies shot.... running wild in the bush - that's a wolf!!

I am pretty certain that a lot of malamutes have had carnal relations with wolves...so the family resemblance shouldn't be a surprise.

Young woman in Eastern Canada just died of injuries from a coyote attack - VERY VERY rare BUT these particular coyotes seem to have a "regional" disposition (eg cross breading)to larger size ...and aggression!

.. yes beautiful animal ... and could pass for a good size dog. I think the big difference is that that guy has figured out how to work cooperatively with his pack to survive without kibble and to bring down some pretty big animals including moose. The average domestic dog wouldn't know where to start....although he might find it exciting!!

Promise me one thing though..if you find yourself in the bush meeting up with one of these....and you do say "Here Boy" please have a camera ready ... I would pay to see pics of you asking it to "shake a paw"
