Smith & Wesson Wheelguns.........

sat down to enter and catalog my gubs, started with the S&W wheelguns......took me the better part of the day to enter all of them, take seperate pics of each.....got a feeling there are a few hiding someplace I missed

but the end result......the table aint got anymore room, so I must be close to done

they range from 1908(I think) to 2004, most are 1940's-1980's

Nice! I think my favorite is the wood handled stainless one in about dead center of the table pointed to the right.

Quite the collection..
Looks like you could use a couple more 8-3/8s, so a larger table is in order also.

Is that only one I see?

only had the need(LOL) for the one.......Connie got it for my Birthday last year, I use it around the house as the long barrel makes less noise, but I shoot my 4 or 6" just as well or better

I like 2-4" 2-3" prefered

I think the guns on the table are worth more than my 401K currently... Love the pic. So I take it from the pic you are a big fan of the j frame. Any favorite out of the j frames? I love my 360PD.

That is a beautiful sight, I've always had a soft spot for S&W revolvers, I carried a SS .357 in the Venezuelan outback for years, loved that gun.

impressive smith collection, + alot of points.
however unless i'm mistaken, there is no m1917 in there.
if that is indeed the case, - enough points to put you in the negative column.
if i'm mistaken, i'll turn in my smith standard catalog.

eta
how many m13's are in that jumble?

I used to have a S&W collection that would fill a table like that. Mostly N frames. Lost interest when S&W tried to stab us in the back with the Clinton & Wesson Agreement. Pared the collection down to only the most useful, most rare or most unusual.

While visiting the in-laws this weekend in Fla, I scored a NIB Model 65-4 that was collecting dust as an old department purchase right before they went to Autos, it's nice.

And picked up an old school Mod. 60 no dash with a R171XX serial number.

Theyz is nice

3 or 4"? 65? they are one of the best S&W made

we should have a NIB model 37 airweight 2" coming, it was bought by a tiny local PD way back in the day, still wraped in the paper. Also comes with a pair of MP5's

4" model, has the PD rack number etched into the inside of the cylinder yoke

The Model 60 is old school from around 1969

very nice! get some nice wood grips for that 60, they just dont look right with rubber.

the 65's, about all you need in a gun. I have a one(4") that was beat up on the outside, new on the inside, its my truck gun. Need to find yourself a 3" 13 or 65

I got a 64 2" that is marked(by S&W) GA Parole Board
