Wow, cheap price. Nice.

Definitely a doable and fun project. Windage is adjusted on the rear sight, is elevation taken care of on the front sight?

Front sight is fixed. Both adjustments are made on the drum...

I've reached out to the guy that did it to see what all is required and whether he is willing to share specs. I will let you know if I hear back from him... But yeah, it is a hell of a lot cheaper than the Sig sight... $230 is the cheapest I have found them in stock.

Elevation is made on the drum............sweet.

Making a base will be a snap, I guess it can't be too thick, that would throw off the elevation adjustment.

I have never used a sight like this, I guess you like it pretty well?

It's still too early to tell. I have never had a rifle with optics, so I consider myself kind of an iron sights purist. I shot well with my HK this weekend.... I like the easy adjustment for 200-300-400 meters. Most of my shooting has been with A1 and A2 AR sight packages, so that is what I really prefer. Problem with that is that the AR sights are a different height, so the hooded front and an AR rear are a no go. So it is either optics, the Sig drum, new AR style front and rear sights, or a fabbed up mount to put a HK drum on it. The HK mount is by far the most cost effective and it's a pretty dope set up.

I am trying to run down specs on the guy's mount to see how thick it needs to be etc.. I will post up what I find.

It will be interesting to see if the guy responds or not.

In any case, it won't be hard to design. We can always use the dimension of your front sight to design the rear setup.
