It's still too early to tell. I have never had a rifle with optics, so I consider myself kind of an iron sights purist. I shot well with my HK this weekend.... I like the easy adjustment for 200-300-400 meters. Most of my shooting has been with A1 and A2 AR sight packages, so that is what I really prefer. Problem with that is that the AR sights are a different height, so the hooded front and an AR rear are a no go. So it is either optics, the Sig drum, new AR style front and rear sights, or a fabbed up mount to put a HK drum on it. The HK mount is by far the most cost effective and it's a pretty dope set up.
I am trying to run down specs on the guy's mount to see how thick it needs to be etc.. I will post up what I find.
