Pics of my new shooter - Savage 4M Deluxe

Picked up a new rifle.......well new to me rifle Its a Savage 4M Deluxe .22 Magnum. It has a 5 round magazine. I think they stopped making them in 1965. I bought it from a kid, his Dad had bought it years ago. Its in pretty good shape, the rifling looks crisp, just some wearing on the finish and a few minor scratches on the stock. A good looking shooter.

He just needs to draw a set of cross hairs on his windshield with a grease pencil and attach a string to the trigger and he's set.

Well, I had to do something

I does look like it will be a very sweet shooter. Skillet went with me and we both agreed, the college kid was going to regret giving up his father's gun. Oh well, now it will be my boy's gun

I sold the 28 ga remington skeet gun my g'pa gave me when I was in college. Still kicking myself, no doubt.

Nice piece of iron there.

Pretty great reviews with a quick google search. I think I got $150 for it.
