Woooo hoooo!
After about 10 years, I get to go hunting again!!! I'm taking 4 days off and I'm gonna shoot me a buck.
I can't wait!!
I'm using the Ruger M77 30-06 that was given to me for High School graduation in the early `90s. I've used it once for hunting. I'm going to take it out and shoot some to get used to it again.
WOOOOO HOOOOOO!

Over the counter for buck, there are a lot of draws though. Once in a lifetime moose (which I am not ready to apply for), and I think you can put in for a doe tag.
It's been so long. Yea, I'm going to take some pictures!

Well, aside from one short deer hunt in coastal GA when I lived there, it's been since 1990 for me. I grew up obsessed with hunting and fishing. Just this summer, the bug has bitten again. It's AZ elk for me next season.

There's no elk here. None at all. That's why I started hunting down south.
I saw some tracks the other day, though. Maybe I'll see some tomorrow.......I'm gonna go play in the woods.

I'm heading out tomorrow after work! My rifle is out there already, I've got all my stuff in the 2F-E wagon and it is ready to go.
I've always wanted to go hunting in the Cruiser.
Plus, I've been told there is a Cougar out there roaming around. I'll surely watch for that!

My best method is to take a deep breath and slowly let it out as I put pressure on the trigger. Have fun out there.

Hunting was great. I didn't get anything, but it was sure nice to be out there. The weather hasn't turned cold yet, so the rut had not started and there wasn't any snow like I had hoped for.
Still, it was nice to be in the forest and the quietness. A buddy of mine shot a nice 3 x 4 a day before I got up there.
I did shoot my gun. Very fun. I hadn't shot a gun in about 10 years. I think I'll be getting out to do some shooting! At least I hit what I was aiming at!
Next year!
