Red haired racoons?
Anybody else run across them? My uncle has one near his place in south central WI. I was wondering if anybody else has seen them?
The black haired coyote thread reminded me of this odd ball critter. __________________ When change isn't enough. Vote CHAOS party. You know you can't resist. |

Hmmmmm, does your uncle have those funny little mushrooms around his place in
South Central WI. ? I guess if the red haired raccoons are also "fair skinned", they could be of Irish or Scottish decent, just thinking out loud here. __________________ Flintknapper: '97 Land Cruiser, Moonglow Pearl Chocolate Lab (Kota), I miss you. ΜOΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ (come and take them) |

well to test flintknappers theory put out a big pile of food and a jug of wiskey if the foods still there in the morning, the wiskey is no where to be found and it looks like a 20 pound 1 quadrapedal recking crew has been through there then it's deffinately of scothc/irish decent. or u could just see if he answers to McCoon.

Next time I'm up at his place I'll try to photograph it.
It has the overall shape, size and markings of a raccoon, but what would be brown hair is red. Both my dad and uncle figure it is a raccoon. I suggested my uncle try to trap it, but he doesn't want to bother. __________________ When change isn't enough. Vote CHAOS party. You know you can't resist. |
