When Coyotes Attack

$10 says that there will be an animal rights group spouting off about how we should not kill the coyote.

When Coyotes Attack - California Coyote Sandbox Coyote Attack Chino Hills San Bernardino County

CHINO HILLS, Calif. (AP) - A search is on in California for a
coyote that tried to drag a 2-year-old girl from a sandbox in a San
Bernardino County park.
A sheriff's spokeswoman says the girl's babysitter heard her
scream and saw a coyote trying to carry the child away. The
babysitter was able to pull the girl out of the animal's mouth and
the coyote ran off into the brush.
The girl was taken to a hospital where she was treated for bite
wounds and released. She later went to another hospital for a
rabies shot.
San Bernardino County Animal Control and the State Department of
Fish and Game are searching for the coyote.
In October, a coyote bit a 3-year-old girl playing in the same
area.

But nobody from that group will have kids or live in the Chino Hills area.

D'animal is exactly right. There is/was and old sow near me that did not like me because of my hunting and primarily coyote hunting until one dog and a few months later another one was killed and eaten by coyotes. When she asked me to help her I all but laughed in her face but solved her problem for her. She is a little more friendly to me now.

Wow. I saw the news story, but didn't really think about it.

The other day we were driving back to the house and there was a HUGE coyote just strolling down the sidewalk, looking at people in cars.

You can't tell me this problem isn't going to get way crazy worse. Especially in Socal. I've never seen so many fucking people on top of each other.

Ah. The Sprawl.

I don't remember coyotes being so brazen back in Kansas where I grew up - maybe they need a few more folks like me sending an arrow out of a Black Widow bow to teach them manners. I've even heard of several dogs being taken from their owners while on a leash.

Welcome to MUD!

Hunting Coyotes in Iowa is a "sport" between hunting seasons.

"Between Hunting Season" may last as long as it takes you to reload.
