EMPTY plastic h2o, gatorade, or juice bottles work really well. They jump w/ centerfire pistol, but soar 10-15' with 223/308.

We had Tannerite at TUTapalooza last summer. A couple videos below. The second one is pretty funny - dieseldog starts getting frustated at missing and decides to try full auto.

There were others shooting in the background. It could have been their bullets you heard.

Golf balls.

Try hitting one at 50 yards with a 7.62 x 51.

Not as close at it looks. We were shooting from 25 yards. For a standard tannerite charge that is plenty far.

yeah it looks like 25 ft,,,,, i like to set the pounders up at 150-200 yrds. and once we shot 20 lbs with a gallon of diesel and it made a real cool smoke ring,,, got the idea from a youtube vid. i like tannerite, but it gets spendy so its a once in a while treat.

They're basically laminated sheets of wood wrapped in a plastic outer shell. The shell keeps them together and allows for lots of abuse before they won't stand up anymore.

If you want them to splinter and come apart, take a hot knife and cut the plastic shell off.

Yeah I figured that out after a while. I was thinking you had some homebrew tannerite type stuff.
