Pet hand-loads

I thought it might be interesting to start a thread where folks can post-up favorite loads for others to view.

I'll start it with a couple of my favorites:

.30-06 match for M-1:

46 grains of IMR4895 with a CCI #34 mil-spec primer, LC brass and a 175 grain Sierra Matchking.

.300 WSM:

66 grains of IMR 4831 with a CCI large rifle magnum primer, Winchester brass and a 180 grain Barnes Tripple Shock.

.22-250 Remington:

35 grains of IMR 4895 with a CCI standard primer and a 55 grain Sierra Gameking spitzer boat-tail.

Disclaimer:

Handload at your own risk and do consult current manuals for further details.

350 Rem Mag.
65gr - H380 - 200 gr Hornady SP - CCI 200 - R/P case
vel. 2844 - 1 1/4" 3 shot @ 100yds - Remington 700 Classic

35 Whelan.
55gr - IMR 3031 - 200 gr Hornady SP - WW primer - R/P case - vel. 2720 - 1" 3 shot @ 100 yds -
Remington 7600 pump (and a cheap 1.5-4.5 Scopechief .. darn nice scopes for the money!)

The 35's are just the ticket for Ontario whitetail (course .. so is the 243W with 100gr Noslers)

243 W
40gr - IMR 4350 - 100 gr Nosler - WW primer - Federal case - vel. 2820 - 1 1/2" 3 shot @ 100 yds - Sako mannlicher stock carbine (18 1/2" barrel? - should measure it one day). Group is pretty average but very consistent year to year!

I have a heck of a load for the 270W with 160gr Noslers but alas I am using a bulk surplus powder that is labeled somewhat enigmatically as "#49" ... I believe it is a Bofors or Norma powder ... but 'Ol #49 drives the 160 gr over 2900 fps (according to my cheap "Chrony") and is more accurate than me... bless Jack O'Connor's little heart!

oh yes .. see Dan's disclaimer above -obviously it also applies here

I had two favorite loads for my Ultra Light 7mm-08:

140 TSX, Remington Brass, Federal 210M, 40gr Varget = Avg 2,760 over the croni.
120 TSX, " ", " ", 45gr Varget = 3,200 over the croni. Very accurate, pushing 1/2' moa.

My 300 wm loads were pretty hot so I won't go there.
