alright you southern boys with saltwater boats.

it's cold, and all i do is sleep or work. it's dark when i drive in, and dark when i leave.

show me some fun......

some day i'd like to go for tuna myself, till then let's see yours.

I had a pro football player on one @ 175lb on 50 lb tackle. He landed it @ 11:00 and I didn't see him the rest of the day. He was wiped! It is more fun to run the boat!

We bled this fish and cut the belly flaps off right on the beach. A little soy and wasabi, and they were gone...

I gave the rest to the skipper. He took it to sell, and told me the next day that it weighed 56 kilos. About 124 lbs. I figure that it weighed about 140 lbs. before being gutted, bled and having the belly flaps removed. These fish are amazingly strong, but I much prefer tackling smaller fish like dorado on a flyrod.

off the boat we had a 100 yeard uphill hike before the feast began... sushi, ceviche and grilled...
