There's probably a clinical term for such an affliction. Also there's probably an overpriced government study to confirm that such a condition exists.

Well... I have a pair of Hella H4 E-code lamps in my truck. I have never installed the relay. As you can guess, they are not as bright as they should be.

I have the relay. If this is feasible, I would appreciate help with the install.

As a side, we have not done too many electrical mods at the tech sessions.

Any electricians want to chime in?

I will be all hands for anything else.
Cheers,
ben

BTW, I am in for the gift exchange.

Carl,

I'm planning to bring my FJ62 to swap the rear springs as mentioned earlier in the thread. AFAIK I have all the pieces to do the job (springs, u-bolts, shocks, frame pins, shackles, bushings and extended brake lines). I'll probably toss in my brake line making tools too just in case. If you or another member has some stock or close to stock FJ60/62 shackles I'm interested in buying otherwise I have some stupid long MAF jobs to install in the rear (front is already done).

Benji,

I've done the swap your doing and can help if needed. It's pretty simple though if you have the harness in hand...

I'm bringing cookies or other desert type item. I'll pass on the gift exchange deal.

Nick

Being the astute observer that I am, I can help but notice that "front dana 60s" is plural... WTF are you up to now? was the 609 (or 960).... getting boring and now you need rear stear?

Why no more 609 hybrid axle?

I need to rebuild the carb on my 60 and get it running w/I two weeks. A guy stopped by the house Monday and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. So I think I have sold it. If there is room/time I also need to install a steering stab on my 80 and adjust the brake proportioning valve. I also thought I could bring my new stud welder/dent puller if anyone has any dents they want pulled out. If someone wants to just try it out, they can do so on my rockers. They need some help.

Here is an update on the agenda for the day:

- 8:00 AM Shop should be open.

- Noonish - Lunch - The club will provide the meat and fill in the menu
Annual Meeting - Set 2009 calendar, conduct elections, induct new members. Members are encouraged to consult with their personal calendars prior to the meeting.

- Adjourn - No set time. The Indy folks will probably hang out as long as people want to.

Weather is calling for a High of 28 so dress accordingly. A huge fire does sound good. There is heat in the shop but it won't be as warm as your living room. Cheers.

Is all wood supplied, or is it B.Y.O.F.W. ( bring your own fire wood?) Maybe Bill will bring 1/4 of his new charcoal bricquette to get the whole thing started.

Uh, as a condition of my parole, I'm not allowed to start any type of open flame, not even a match!

Brian and I are heading down tomorrow. If you folks need anything dragged down to you shoot me a PM to make arrangements.

Bill do you still need my "extreme" steering setup?

I also have 40 series knuckles, arms, and course birfs (from a '74 40) if anyone is interested. I also have a pair of "antique" Selectro hubs for the cruiser purist amongst you.

We'll be picking up parts for Dan (BAMF) and myself while we're there.

If your willing to part with the 4 shocks and steering parts for $20, absolutely. I will be glad to take them off your hands.

Cookies of the chocolate chip and peanut butter varieties are coming with us.

Just got back in the door...

I want to say thanks to Carl for the use of his shop, Clint for being a great host, Jimmy being a good cook, sorry I missed your chili AJ, and the rest of the Hoosier Cruisers. You guys are a great bunch to be around, thanks for having me!

One final set of thanks to Bill for taking my old steering setup, and to Tony for selling me a new one!

See you all in march!

After a finding some more new info on the mid central TLCA event it seems they're definately getting the ball rolling. The event name should be easy to remember.

Great American Toyota Offroad Rally

This has been added to the TLCA event schedule.
