I won't be able to make this one. I have to go to a funeral...I mean wedding for my nephew. A little Freudian slip there.

Plans are coming together. I'll be heading up Friday. Former HC member David Reljac will be bringing his built 80 series up as well for it's first trail ride. I told him I'd introduce it to it's first tree... Might stay and wheel Sunday as well. Depends on how Saturday goes.

Ridiculous work hours over the last month have kept me pretty busy, but I am up for this run. As long as the weather is decent, than I plan on camping Friday and Saturday night with wheeling on Saturday and Sunday.
I have some new to me beadlocks that I need to get together today, and I am looking forward to trying them out.

Hi Daryl, yes "Daryl" will be there for a "baseline" run. Should be interesting, between no lockers on AT's and me wheeling for the first time with a clutch. If my current plan falls together, it will be the one and only run with open diffs and AT's.
As for camping, I have a funeral to attend tomorrow afternoon and I am unsure of the time. So, if I know that I can hit the road and be at camp by 7-8:00 or earlier then I'm in. Otherwise I will see ya Sat. morn in the parking lot.............looking forward to it!!

Are u in the 4 runner and are u kidding on the AT's?
35" BFG AT's is what is on my rig. As far as AT's go they are great tires but they are still AT's.

yeah the same 4runner. and no im not kidding. 35 bfg ats. Im interested to see how they do. Ive had them for years and I run them on the winter (I hate bias ply flat spots, and most of my tires have had no sipes and they get scary in the snow). Plus there is still a big part of me that want to run a 37"-40" radial mud terrain again.

Of course. So were my SX's and my TSL's....
Bias is UNBEATABLE offroad, but it leaves a bit to be desired on road. Dont get me wrong I still think the pitbull is the best bias ply on the road. But some times I think it would be fun to not shake, wobble, go deaf, vibrate, wander, hydroplane....things like that.

I wheeled my first 2 years on BFG ATs not bad at all. But I still like a MT better. Can't wait to drool all over the 40 Tom.
