New Membership Benefit
I was in Obrian Toyota (Shadland Ave.) today getting some parts and I talked to the parts manager, Dave Sparks, about giving a discount to TLCA club members. I have a good relationship with them bacause my bro has worked there forever. Dave offered a 20% discount to local TLCA members. He said he would mention it to the help so any of us can go there with a membership card and get the discount. Hopefully this will be a good thing for all concerned and come in handy for the new wheeling season. Happy Trails.

Thanks for your efforts Ron, they are greatly appreciated! I bought my FJC from this dealer, and they were very helpful and friendly.

Cool Ron, thanks for the effort.
Royal Toyota in Bloomington, although they are nice people, are the most ignorant people on the face of the planet. They don't think Toyota trucks existed before 1990.
BTW, 20% is a big discount.
I am probably going to get a new OEM muffler from there this summer. If the dealer does the installation, it comes with a free lifetime warranty .
I am excited!

Ben, if you have Obrian install your exhaust, ask for Dave Featherston to do the work. He is a master tech and knows his stuff.

Thanks Ron!!
Do you think they would do the same with a phone order? I've only had to use the parts department at the fort wayne dealer once for one part but that 20% would of saved about $75.

If it is a part they would need to order, they may ask for payment up front and wouldn't take it over the phone. If that is the case, I could go over there and place an order for you. They would also take a phone order from me.

I just orderd some parts from O'brien Toy. OEM plugs, filters (tune-up) parts. I talked with Brandon over the phone. He gave me the 20% discount and no payment up front. I told them I would be in tomorrow to pick them up. They were so cool with it and had no problem at all. I was amazed they did not want payment up front. They had to order the parts from the warehouse.
It's spring tune-up time.
THANKS RON!!!!!!!

That's great Ben. I deal with Brandon all the time. He was there when I set this up with Dave so I am glad he remembered. He is a cool dude and their parts department is great as a whole. If you are not sure about a part, they will also fax you pics of the area so you can give them the right part. Good bunch of guys.
