3/22 Shakedown run?
Gents,
I am making every effort to attend this ride with my Cruiser. I've had it since Labor Day weekend of last year and have yet to hit the trail. To say I'm jonesin to wheel is a minor understatement.
Like 4rnr I'm probably gonna head up Friday after work and stay at the hotel (if they're open). Makes for a long day Saturday otherwise. If anyone is interested in riding Sunday I could be convinced to drive up Saturday instead to wheel the following day. An extra day of riding makes my fuel bill look less painful too.
How about it? Who else is planing to make the ride?
Nick

I know tom wimberly (TNT4x4) doesnt post here but he is planning on coming down and he might bring his bronco (its sweet). I think he said he is going to try to get Steve (Cliffs owner) to come as well now that he has a rig. The both of them havent been to the badlands in many years... My other buddy Joe (Joez) might make it as well.

That weekend is the front end of our Spring Break but I'm thinking it should work out for one long day Saturday.

Depending on my parts install progress I might bring the 62 for a debut run. If not then the FJC gets the honors.
After seeing Tom's rig this past Sunday I'd love to see that in action!

Did you see my rig at Carl's shop or are you talking about a different Tom?

I'll be there. That Friday is Good Friday, would anyone be up for wheeling Friday and Sat? The boys have off school and I really want to wheel, and it would be nice to make the trip a little more worth while. Diesel is EXPENSIVE!! Say like noon Friday. I think we are going to stay over in Danville IL though, got the indoor pool to keep the boys entertained...

Same feeling here. I had a guy from Lafayette call and order some parts today, he said he's up for it.

The pig should be ready for a good shake down run with the EFI and locker mod 12.2
New tires on the trailer too, so no more Gumby napping my co-driver/truck guard.
Even got a new batch of TEQ stickers. Maybe some pig ones too. Good for 10 hp each.

Gumby was more problems than what he was worth. The little bastid had this funky smell to him that drew flies! lol Stickers? Cool! I want a dozen of 'em so I can go faster than my wife's 4 cylinder minivan!

This weekend I finally admitted to myself the fact that I have a very weak Pass side front spring pack. Not sure what, if anything I'll be able to do about it this week though. I'll still be there, but I might have a saggy front right end. :( I don't have the truck here at the shop so that complicates things a lot. I might pulling apart a spring pack I have here and try swapping out a few leaves if I have time.

Sorry folks but I won't be able to make this one. My birf parts weren't delivered and are now going back to Kurt thanks to the USPS. The morons could deliver a fart in an elevator without screwing it up. Kurt will have them shipped back to me FEDEX next week. In the meantime enjoy the mud!
