gauging interest

Thinking of possibly selling my 76 40, wondering if anybody is interested. Don't really want to sell it but I need a vehicle that gets good gas mileage, and a 40 that gets 14 or 15 and an 80 that gets 11 just ain't cutting it. Hell I don't even get to wheel it anymore due to work.

Chad P.

Chad, That is a sweet rig. Out of my price range, no doubt. My dream Cruiser is an FZJ80. I have an 85 4WD mini. I drive a 2wd Toyota pick up for the gas milage. Got less then $500.00 in the whole truck. Good luck in whatever happens. Tony.

May not be as far out of your price range as you think, I'm not real sure I want to sell it but the MPG in 2 land cruisers is killing me, if I added the two together I would still be well under 30 MPG.

Hell I'm probably right at 20 mpg if you combine both of mine.

Garage
My 80 and 55 were 20 at best combined, which is the same as my Tundra (that has more HP than the 80 and 55 combined.)

Don't sell the 40. It'll only make you sad and make you pay more for a lesser one some day.

Chad,
Questions:

How much $$?
How many miles on the ticker?
Do you have any recent pics (if it looks any different than the pics from '06)?
Any upgrades or changes since '06? You had listed what you were going to do to it.

Thanks,
Tom

I'm thinking $6,000.00, I don't have a clue how many miles the odometer hasn't worked since I got it. I doubt I have driven it 2,000 miles. I installed a CD player, winch, front recovery points, and new tires.
