We need to promote our clothing.
If we don't have them currently, we need to get T-shirts and bucket hats available for sale. I've seen both on members (well, mostly Clint). I, for one, am planning to go to Rubithon this June and need to make sure people there know about Hoosier Cruisers. I have a company up here that does our corporate embroidery and screen printing, if no one else has previous arrangements.
Thoughts?

We voted in a design at Carl's shop. And I thought Carl said he could get good prices on shirts.
I would be ready to buy a shirt as soon as they are available.

If we get some things available- I'll ask the club if they want to give some up as a raffle prize at Rubithon. Also, if anyone can think of businesses to approach (hint: Outback Offroad) for raffle prizes, let me know. Luke

I'm up for clothing. I also need to renew my membership- who do I mail the check to for that?
And what's the schedule that was voted on? I keep waiting for it to be posted, but the sooner I can have a look at it the more events I can likely make. My New Year's resolution was to cut down on the body damage I sustain this year, as it's been a pain in the ass to try and fix it all.

That's a frightening thought- I don't think we could keep up with the demand if we make that threat.

I'm in, I'm in. I want a shirt. And a hat too, if it's not one of those big flat front hats. But I'd probably buy one anyway. What about HC socks and underwear? Just a thought. What about a fixed date for the July event? Or have you already fixed a date and I ain't smart enough to figger it out? Later, Tony.

Seriously, if someone would forward me the logo, we could have hats embroidered in less than a week and T shirts printed in one color in 2 days.
Is anything happening on this?

clothing in 2007...
Luke,
At the January tech day when we normally decide the year's events and direction for the club for the year, it was decided that we would focus our efforts towards a club shirt for the Hoosier Hoedown. Jimmy's idea from last year was decided to be the best and we are moving forward with that. To fill the gap until that is completed we decided to get new club stickers made ASAP. Those stickers are available now and are in my posession. They turned out really good and are full color of the official HC logo. Due to limited club resources, we didn't want to stretch the club funds too thin and we haven't committed to anything further than those two items. If we wanted to create a club shirt that we all could PREORDER & PREPAY, than we could easily get something else available too.
A couple of years ago AJ had embroidered bucket/boonie style hats made that were very reasonable that only a few of us took advantage of. The design was paid for at that time and additional hats should be easy to get reproduced.
I too would like to have some additional club merchandise, but the biggest issue seems to be geting enough people to commit to make the effort worthwhile. Design ideas would be helpful too. I would also like to see our website be included on future designs. Let me know what your thoughts are and we can get the ball rolling sooner with enough interest!
Clint

Clint- I'm PMing you to see about getting an embroidered bucket hat for Rubithon. Maybe even an extra one as a raffle prize for the campfire. Thanks, Luke
PS. If anyone want a quote on the Hoedown shirts from the people up here, forward the graphics to me and I can get one.
