I'm going to try to go down to Galloway's tire shop this week and trade the (5) brand new 42's and 5 recentered H1's for (4) 47" LTBs and a set of unmolested H1 wheels

I hope you're not dealing with Lester...he'll change his mind before you get there. And if you're trying to get a used 315, find a fat kid named Cook or Cameron and he will cut you a deal if you tell him you know me.

Im sorry to say it, I think I liked it better the way it was - v6, 80 series diffs on 42s, that was way cool.

Dunno bout now though, whats the story with the truck diffs?

This is probably a good idea. Those toy cases screamed "weak link" as soon as you got the V8. BTW, progress doesn't count if you don't post pics.

Ok...update

Last night I changed the input shaft in this

I pulled the intake off 2 nights ago and put it in my blast cabinet and glass beaded to take the paint off of it...pretty nice once it cleaned up......... Edelbrock Preformer
Before

After

Tonight I pulled the output shaft out of a th350 that I bought the other day..actually I bought a NP203 and the th350 came with it

Tomorrow I'm taking the good(built) trans to a shop to have them check it out and swap out the output's(it currently has a output shaft for a 208 in it)

I've got to find an adapter plate to run this, I'll try to pick one up tomorrow

BLING! Edelbrock Valve Covers

Now I've got a dummy trans attached to the back of the 355 for mock up...this way I can build my engine mounts, trans mounts and mount up the doubler

Woody...here

Since you have changed the drivetrain and axles are you going to have to totally redo all the links and brackets or will they work with the new parts? I think you would be further ahead if you sold this entire project to someone along with the original drivetrain and just built a buggy from scratch.
