Been looking around on the Internet about portal axles and not seeing a lot of info on places that are selling them or really good builds.

Was wondering a good place to get Unimog, Volvo c303, or hummer drope boxes. Not to worried about builds on Unimog or Volvo axles pretty straight forward there but would like more info on the hummer bolt on portals.

Would like to do hummer drope boxes on my 83 fj60, wanted to know if it was doable or not. Also a link to any on else's build if there is one.

If I remember correclty they were around $20K+ for the set.

c303's are a little (lot) friendlier to those not independantly wealthy, I cant remeber but i think i found a place that sells them to north america for around $2K a piece, I have it saved on my desktop at home, ill check when I get in.

Most (if not all)the guys here run the C303's with an FJ60 5 speed and a 1JZ or 1JZ VVTi engine from a Toyota Chaser/Supra. Sounds awesome and pulls like a train!
