People don't understand the buggy deal, I realize that, but those people that don't understand it think a trail like Pritchett Canyon is a bad ass, mean MOFO of a trail.
The stuff we are doing out there these days is MEAN on a truck and even harder on sheetmetal.
I am literally designing this rig to roll without any damage. That is my #1 goal......

I'm tired of being all off camber, and looking through my door at a rock that is gonna kick my ass if I flop. My Willys is getting buggy sides after the 4th. Then I will only be $80 from a new "body" at any given time

Too bad you didn't start by building a full tube chassis from the start. I'm sure you could have saved some serious coin.. Oh well, we all live and learn...

I don't know about that either. The tube chassis itself is about 10% of the work that goes into a buggy.
I seriously did the research on pulling all of my stuff and transfering over to a tube chassis and the cost was overwhelming.
By saving my dash, and that short section of frame with motor mounts and crossmembers, I am way ahead of the game.
This is basically all tube now. Nothing is bolted to the frame anymore that can flew or tear when I roll it. All solid as can be.
Like a tube frame with a section of rectangular in it.
