40 getting bigger and badder

After a bunch of years of building this 40, the direction changed after a trip to Rubithon this past year.
Wheeling with a hardcore group and seeing the whomping they put on their rigs, I knew it was time to do it to my own.

14 bolt, 5:13's, welded with discs and a Dana 60, 5:13's and either a Detroit Electric or ARB and I will be moblie finally.

The pic is crappy, but the 40 is getting so close to rolling out on its own,
I can taste it.

H1 Civilian Beadlocks with brand new 37x 125 x16.5 Military MT's.
Killer purchase for 5 @ $750 total package...

Believe me, I have been looking and looking for the right wheel/tire combo that I could afford for this rig.

Are you worried about catching those long studs on the rocks? They look like real rock catchers to me.

I use the bolt heads on my Allieds all the time for traction...looks kinda like cleats to me

However, don't the lockouts stickout quite a bit as well?

Jack, they are the same rims that I had on my rig at the Rubithon although mine were recentered for a diferent BS.

The bolts can be reversed very easily so damage is not a problem.

The hub damage is more of an issue (but only if you are not running drive slugs)

Cool, only 6 posts and that is one of them

I used to run some of those old MTs. They do pretty good on the rocks, but the sidewalls are thin...

More pics Bitch...

While I have never met Nolen face to face, i know him all too well.
I may show up at a LSLC event or someother shindig, walk into the crowd or up to him slowly and introduce myself.................
Actually once the FJ60 is complete, i plan on driving it to events as often as I possibly can/
2005 will be the year, oh yes 2005.....

That was my point I would either reverse them or put pasties on the end of each -- they would be cool

Redcorn.....did you by any chance ride with me on part of the Rubicon?
