rear wheel well....

I trimmed my quarters more and I am making the wheel well about 5-6 inches bigger. (depends on how close i get to the fuel lines. I really don't feel like moving that whole contraption) how necessary is that thing anyway?
I am also trimming the wheel well then going to add some kinda tube.

anyone know how important that little fuel contraption thing is? I'd rather just get rid of it all together if I can. 3 posts up last picture,

wow, please keep the build going, i've been contemplating an almost identical setup... 63 chevy in the rear, rears up front, extended rear wheel wells and a mild bob... beautiful, i just wish i had the balls to chop up my rig

I missed this thread but I did the same on mine a couple of months back.

IH8MUD Forums - View Single Post - Freds40 builds a 60

The patch piece is in place but I went and got a job and haven't had time to finish it.

As it sits now (and probably will for a bit longer)

Never mind the soot.

I am not all that experienced with FJ60's, but if there is a cavity between the Fuel Filler door, you could extend the soft lines, and put it there...if there is a cavity. Since with that just put it anywhere you want, with the soft lines cut to fit.
