| H1 wheel centers (USA6x6 is no more?!?) I am about to buy a set of 12 bolt military wheels and before I plopped down the cash, wanted to check again on the availability of new (6 lug) centers. Looks like USA6x6 has folded up shop. I see from another post that Copperhead fabrication is a source of the new centers. Anyone else I should consider? |

| Even if USA 6x6 was still around, I would hope none would do business with them. I personally haven't dealt with them, but several of my local wheeling buddies have, and the least of the issues with them was a 7 month wait for them to ship a paid order. |

| I used the USA6x6 centers on my wheels & I think they are great & were easy to install. I'm not a big fan of the flat centers, if for no ther reason than weight, although the stamped design should be stronger.
When I ordered tham from Daniel, he stated that they would be coming direct from the factory in Southern California. I bet you may be able to find the mfg by making some phone calls to Socall wheel makers.
Maybe American racing?

| Those H1 wheels will be the heaviest wheels you've ever picked up. I know as I have 2 sets of 3/8" plate centers/ H1 wheels combo. I wouldn't go this route again even if it cost more to go w/ less weight. I'd look into the lightest center available, which are the pressed one's. Or go w/ the dbl. beadlocked Hutchinson aluminum wheels, which'll be 2X lighter, but prolly 3X more expensive |

| weight not exactly worried about the weight. EVERYTHING on a cruiser already weighs a ton. Besides, I shaved several hundred lbs off by switching to an all aluminum engine over the original lump.
And heavy wheels will just lower my center of gravity. |

| the pressed centers are a much better designed unit. They are superior in just about every way...
I am not a big fan of Daniel. But, like Sixty said, they did what he paid them to.
Most likely, he is getting his centers from Stockton Wheel in Cali..
(nother place I am not all that impressed with)

| if your running toyota axles you need to think twice about putting wheels that heavy on the ends of them...

| Bump. It's hard to find threads like this where the primary search criteria is two characters.
Anyone use the stockton wheel centers? I just bought a set of 12 bolt H1's and am looking for a good set of pressed centers.
