Norma Jean linked up for a 4 some
Catchy title? Here s the deal . I have A fj40 W/350 tbi and I managed to sourced a d60 front and a 14 bolt rear . Now while I build a set of Narrowed(4" wider then the stock 40 axle) bullet proof axles Capable of handeling 40 + tires and super low gearing . I need to start sourcing parts and measurements for a 4 link front and rear. ![]() I plan on running a sm465 a 203 reduction housing and a d300 tcase so I need the added deiveline. Keep in mind this is not a trailer quean If I go less then 20 miles ,more then 20 miles and it will be on a trailer. Inspections are not a problem nor is the local motor vehical jurisdiction . Nad If it runs 55 on the road I will be happy I plan to be slow and low.I would like to have a 90 deg approach angle and 1/4 eliptical front and rear . Now my questions are the recomended tube size, lengths and separations for the upper and lower links. And any constructive criticizm . I have a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly heavy and large skinny pedal . And I dont know haw to say I cannot do it. Thanks Dennis
