I hear 4RnrRick on Pirate got sent to the corner for giving his opinion of that housing. Lame idea IMO.

Maybe they should just stick to pinching other peoples ideas.

The write up Rick did showed holes not centered, ugly/incomplete welds, splatter everywhere, a hole drilled/tapped sideways, basically poor craftsmanship. A Diamond is twice as much so that means that this is a CZ version

Others said that there's were not as nasty as his, but good or bad, TG is just the low buck dealer. Take that as you want.

Its stronger than the thin stock housings, but not worth $400 plus shipping to me.

wow, i had no idea that TG was bringing the suck like that....or that they were copying other peoples ideas etc....i've bought some stuff from them (hub flanges and 6shooters) that seemed like quality products and the axle housing seems like a pretty innovative idea that could be beneficial since rocks hitting my axle tubes and/or chunk are usually what stops me from getting up stuff.....but if it's make like a chinese peice of crap then forget it....

There's a lot of info on MUD and Pirate(unless threads got deleted by Mods)....

You can buy cheap imports at Trail-Mart.... OR

You can buy quality, Made in America, from the original innovators of our sport at Marlin Crawler or All-Pro Offroad

It's your choice....

Phil

Ive heard from a local Freind that the build quality was not all that great, but
What do you guys expect for $399??

Diamond makes nice custom housings, but you have to pay to play!

Hey guys not out to give myself a bad name here but $400 for a stronger than stock, with more clearance housing....... sounds bloody great. I can't even buy an empty 60-series housing in Oz for less than $880.

those are sweet, but not a "complete" housing..

I just think the TG housing looks like dog Poo.. and i would want at least a cruiser 3rd in there, or step up to a 9" with the Spider Trax ones!

BTW i met the owner of spider trax a month or so ago, Very nice guy!
