Ha! That would be after you witnessed my finding a loose spacer before the rocks a few weeks ago. I'll post up some pics later tonight with 38.5 TSL/SX's and the current 39" setup.

SOA 40 on 39's, 17" wheels, 2" spacers, 30 spline longs, 6 stud knuckles, 6 pin drive flanges, Poly rears, fuel injected and DUI 2F runs good well past sideways, blah blah blah...

Haha...well since you are like the 12th person I have seen on the trail with problems with wheel spacers, so ya it sorta helped. Wish I could afford some krawlers but I should be sporting 39.5 Iroks by GSMTR, I am just having some trouble finding rims that wont require spacers.

So what the verdict on the Polys? You get a free set...I still don't think they should have blown. You wernt thaaaat wedged.

My wheels are 3" backspacing 9" wide, got them thru summit, but I have been told they won't make custom BS for you anymore

I run 1.5" spacers on mine as well, I have not had any problems with them

I too run 1.5" spacers and 38.5s. I've been running mine for years and have never had a problem with them. I keep hearing about spacers coming loose but of all my wheelin' buddies that run them I've never seen one come loose that was installed properly.

Hey Bill, I've got a pic with that same pose!

FWIW, I had 39" IROKs on 15x10" beadlocked wheels in this pic. You can see how much wider they look than the 39" IROKs on 17x8" beadlocks in the first pics I posted in this thread.

My rear axle is a custom hybrid - it's a centered FJ40 third member with mini truck axle shafts. It has a fine splined pinion 4.11 diff with the spiders welded and Chevy disk brakes.

I ran spacers for years without issue also.. half the time people didn't have the right lug nuts for the spacers, or didn't check them periodically..

I'm definitely in the camp of not having rechecked my spacers - since installing. But I would do a visual check regularly before wheeling or driving - which is when I caught mine. I'll be going back and retorquing more often. Definitely a bonehead move on my part.

I was running a stock Cruiser axle housing with course spline pinion, poly axles, disk brakes and a single link bar that I'm having problems dialing in. R.K.'s setup is nicely done. I just had to ante up for a new pair of Poly's pending their receiving my busted/bent/cracked/exploded/tweaked long side in return. Not happy - but what else can I do right now - will see what happens. Will be putting a fine spline in while it's down.

If you decide to run a 39.5" IROK, I would recommend going with a 17" wheel. The 39.5/15 has too tall of a side wall in my opinion. It lets the rig bounce more. I would also run a 8 or 9" wide wheel.

Both tires in the pics are 39.5 IROKs. In the first pic, the one on the left is 39.5/15 on a 10" wide beadlocked wheel. The one on the right is a 39.5/17 on an 8" wide beadlocked wheel.

In the secone pic the 39.5/17 is on the left and the 39.5/15 is on the right.

I am running a toyo pickup transfer case. The t-case has Marlin 4.7's in it. The rear has a welded 4.10 gear. This rig is new to me in the last few months, so I have not done much with it yet. By the looks of it though, it has been through some tough stuff.
