sea foam for carb & crank case
Anyone ever use this product in their crank case? And if so,what were the results good or bad? Would you guys recommend using this product in my 78-40 w/ 300k + miles or 2 quarts of transmission fluid to help clean out the motor? Thanks, Ready

I've only used it through the carb. And sometimes through a vacuum line into the intake. It will clean things up. You'll fill your neighbor hood with smoke. Don't do it inside a garage!. I think the stuff is awesome. I use Berrymans B12 for the crankcase for no other reason than I knew about it first. I first used seafoam in my 2 stroke. It was all gummed up and barely running because of the junk in Calif. gas. The dealer told me to spray seafoam into the carbs and if that didn't cure my problems bring it in. It worked wonders. I put a can through every car I but now.

I use it in my 87 60 and it seems to run smoother. Put seafoam in crankcase on an oil change that has about 2500 miles on it, then run that till you change the oil. Put more seafoam in with new oil and it cleans out the gunk.
Definitely use it! __________________ 1987 FJ60 - MoonShine - 62 springs, add-a-leaf, 33's, KMR's Tailgate Hatch, desmog + headers, storage / sleeping system, etc. -- 228k miles 1967 Stevens Mfg.
