Rear fender tubbage

Gonna play with my rear fenders a bit for more available up travel.

the plan is to cut the rear fenders up to the top lip and then rebuild/extend the existing fenders to fit.

If anyone has done this before pics would be appreciated

guy I know took a round trailer fender and use it to create a smooth inside line for his rear fenders....didn't look very cruiserish tho...

It WILL be tough to recreate the entire upper area....maybe it's time to just tube it and leave it open

if ya can, save the existing top of the fender to reuse....allows ya to at least "try" and keep the factory ribbing look.
