what a beautifull truck. great job. And sadly enough it probably gets better milage than the 14mpg i am getting on my new 2wd 6.7 dodge oil burner.

19.87mpg while loaded down on a 460 mile road trip from Fresno area to Calico. (Through the mountians)

wow, that's gotta have an auto in it, coirrect? my 07 5.9 averages right below 20mpg, down to 14 when towing.

the new 6 speed auto

my brother has on 07 6.7L with 4wd and he is getting 13's. I drive a fairly straight highway shot from lemoore to hanford (8 miles) on the highway daily with 10 miles each way total. 3 stop lights right at the end and 1 at the start of the drive. i have had a couple highway runs unloaded and cant get into 16's. havn't run a tank through towing but im not expecting much. the new ford is even worse.

its all the smog crap

It is one of those 5' paint jobs. It looks really good 10' away but up close if you look for the imperfections, you can find them. I told the guys at the paint shop that is was a Tow Rig for 4x4's and not a Show Rig built to haul trophies from car shows.

I have another shipment arriving from "The Truck Shop" and LMC so more stuff will be bolted to it wed night or thur night at the latest. This baby is going to Los Angeles on Friday Night.

I caravan'ed down to Burank with OrangeFJ45 and DeHondaGod. Everything was going good until I was heading u[p the grapevine at 8:30pm and lot everything electrical except one head light. That was a fun drive to Wasabi's house. We stopped and replaced a few fuses but it is a bigger issue.

Where is my Ground?

On the way back from Project Phoenix I get at call from OrangeFJ45. He said my hubs were turning. I pull off the side of the road and check the hubs, yep, they are in the locked position. I take off and catch OrangeFJ45. About 30 miles down the road I look down and notice the 4x4 shift is in 4high.

I pull off the side of the road and put it in 2Hi. WOW!

No more vibration at 72mph and I have snappier acceleration.

I figure I would tell this story before OrangeFJ45 and DeHondaGod did.
