Yep, It's offset for the FJ60 Case that's in it. The offset is real close to the FJ 60 rear, just around 3.5" wider.
Yeah, I know I'm slow.........sometimes. I got get myself back in gear and get this thing done so it can be ready for the TCLA/TAC event at the park this fall. In late September?????? Anyone know off hand? Yall going to bring a crew down from MI, again? -John |

I chatted with Ron the other day and he mentioned 6 or 7 from the MI crew coming down. That would be awesome! __________________ Flat Nasty with TAC 2008 event info. Look like you got some good burn in!Just wondering, but why'd you opt for the smaller ring gear instead of keeping the D60? Ground clearance or you gonna hog out the side gears for 35 spline in the LC diff? Did you machine some bearing cap pucks to align the 3rd member? Sorry I missed this years Flat Nasty Event, I even paid Next year man I'm gonna have my rig 100% ready!

The Flat Nasty ride was a blast. I'm be down next year as well for the TAC Event.
Yeah, I made the pucks for the carrier bearings, tubes, ect....... Then use the 5 foot Thompson Rod to keep it all in line. On one of the first pics you can see the pucks in the D60 rear with the bar, same idea on the front. One of the pics of the front has a bushing on the end. I have few set now for the axles, ends, and chunks that I most commonly use. The donor 60 parts was actually a D50 from a super duty, and we already had the ARB and gears, so I put them together. Yeah I'll broach them out when I have the ablity to do it myself, which is a few months down the road, if get my act together. For now, I got some other projects in front of it, since most of them come with at least 35 splines. -John |

Looks good Marko! Is that Rons 4runner? I thought it was out of comission with a broken frame. Oh well nothing a welder and a little shop time won't cure I guess.
Are ya gonna shave the housing for a little more clearance under the differential? Those links are a work of art. |

Thanks.
The Red one is a buddy's. Ron fixed his 4runner with rect. tube in the front frame section and put a little bit of tube up there around the were old wheel wells where. It looks pretty good, and back in action. I may shave the housing, I'll see what time permits. It's a little closer to the tire than stock housings, and we're running 39.5s. __________________ XRRA #247 |

Bringing this one up from the dead....
Great to meet you this weekend Marco. You are truly an animal. AWESOME to watch this guy wheel. Had he not rolled on his first course he would have easily been in the top 6 this weekend. YouTube - John Markovich Rock Midget Motorsports- powered by SmugMug See you at Jellico Marco..... |

Nolan,
Good talking with you at Grey Rock. Nice work on the photos. Glad you brought this post back up I got a few more revisions and additions. I'll update it soon. My goal for Jellico is to drive alittle more mello, at least that's what I'm telling myself................. Also there's a Toyota run down at Flat Nasty ORP on the 10th of May, if any one interested. The car will be in the middle of prep for the XRRA, but it's much more interesting to watch me wheel my mini-truck. ![]() -John __________________ XRRA #247 |

Hey man, at the race when you dropped in the bad hole, drove backwards on the cource, did a front dig around the tree, then drove back across the killer slope, did a twisted backflip, drove out of it, and finished the race was one of the coolest sheet Ive ever seen, and by far the coolest that day.
Just outstanding driving! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Any a-hole can HAVE a buggy, but not eveybody can be a damn DRIVER like that!!! That is all ![]() are you coming to the Southern Shine Memorial Day in KY?? __________________ www.tachedoutoffroad.com http://forum.ih8mud.com/hardcore-cor...ined-taco.html Project: Dead Lined Taco http://forum.ih8mud.com/expedition-b...ml#post3376062 Ultimate East Coast Places To Go |
