My FJ40 Project (Twisted Cruiser)

Hello

I'm Facundo form Chile, I have an FJ60 and FJ40, and this is my Project.

I build an FJ40 with FJ60 Axles (Full Floater Rear)
-4.88 R&P
-Powertrax No Slip Rear, ARB Front
-Longfileds
-Super Swamper TSL 38,5 x16 on 10" Rims with a lot of offset.

I use the FJ60 axles, they are stronger, and a litle wide.

Now Im going to change the engine (350 TBI), PTO Winch, rock sliders, and oters upgrades.

Today I went to a trip to test my cruiser before the engine change. here some pics.

Hey David
I'm not shure, I'm running the stock 4 speed of an 1984 TLC. I will check on the plate.

I will put the 350 TBI with a Downey Adaper to 4 Speed Case.

Hi Facu, looking good, love the 40's on 38" (or 39" for that matter....).
While you're at it...LINK IT!!! (you know where you have to take it to have the work done in Stgo.....SOS!!)
I would if I could, but I gotta go wheeling...it's been a while since I've gone wheeling and can't wait to test my cruiser.
congrats again on your cruiser!!

Nando

PS I bet you'll want more reduction in a couple of months.....
Like the idea of tube rear fenders.....

Axles are from FJ60,
Rear axle is Full Floater, and front axle have Longfields.
