| Call for Pics: FJ40 tube buggys Ok so I want to chop off my 40 body behind the cowl and make a tube body and cage. I will most likely retain the stock frame since I don't have the kind of cash for a 4link to go with it on this version of the truck. I need some pics of 40s that have had the 3/4 tub chopped off and replaced with a tube body.

You just had a baby and your oldest is 2yo.
If you want to look at some crazy stuff search the thread that "Meanie Got a Facelift".
That guy went from a darn near stock FJ40 to almost a competion rig.
I think he took a 3rd out on the house and sold two of his kids for the build up. |

I've seen the meanie page that is one sick rig but not what I am going to build. Like I said above anything behind the cowl is GONE by the end of this weekend I hope.  don't know how I'll ever afford a tow rig though
