i dont have pictures yet but here is some thing that i am doing. i baught a 1996 GMC K2500 HD decided to replace the engine
so i solected the FAST BURN 385 engine. and i also replaced the stock rockers with comp cams roller rockers and also pro comp roller lifters but i went even more...also the crank sensor and also all electronics have been added to this engine and i have rewriten the OBD2 program and flashed it my self to the GMC's ecm the truck gets about 22MPG and has quite a bit more power than before..and the fast burn heads will work with these trucks and also the fast burn 385 is a vortec designed engine as well but better in design and also very well built...GM said that it would not work well thats BULL because it will work it just takes a little research...
the power this engine offers and durability is well worth the work im useing all the parts from the old engine on the fastburn 385 brakets and intake and more. the fuel injection spider has been replaced and also used a cam that was maped to the OBD2 profile VE tables so that i just had to adjust the tables..
the heads are very efficent so you have to take in to account that when you write the VE tables..
when im finished if the mods here will allow me ill post the bin file for the 1996 OBD2 that i have writen and also all information so that if some one else wants to do this they can do what i have done.. and also my research....
later guys....
