My cruisers

OK, I'll bite on this one...thanks wristy. But to keep to the rules, please list out what you have done with your cruisers so we can learn who to go to for specific questions if we are looking to do the same.

Here are my cruisers:

1973 FJ55, currently under deconstruction
Adding IPOR sliders, changing tranny and Xfer case, removing weber carb and putting a 74 Aisin in there (also the linkage). Alcan springs on order, new shocks and all that good stuff. Still looking for 4 stock wheels and going to mount 33-35" (depending) tires (*EDIT, I found wheels!!). Just found a donor piggy for new rear floorboard and maybe new rear corners. Then a strip of the Maaco paint job and some fresh paint. Wilderness roof rack too.

2007 (bought March 2006) FJ Cruiser. AllPro winch bumper, Warn M800 winch with superline, Budbuilt skids, toyota sliders with an added tube cause they are way too small without it, OME lift (886, 896), AllPro Extreme rear links and skids, on board air compressor and tank, Superswamper SSR's on steelies and Procomp AT's on TRDs, ARB roof rack with 4 IPF lights, factory fog light switches, additional fuse panel for extras (to keep them off the factory electrical system in case of malfunction and to protect warranty, Cobra remote mount CB with Bandi mount, and Fourtrecks roof mount Hilift and shovel and axe mount.

Thanks Ige! I am having fun learning about it as I plan and try to get it to the beauty I know it can be!

I need drum rims...I am not going to disc until these die. The PO just redid the whole system before I bought the pig.

Thanks...unfortunately the red and white paint is crap. Maaco about 10 years ago and there is overspray EVERYWHERE. I think I am an OEM junky...well that and the darn thing is all wacky and hard to adjust. That being said, others have provided advice on how to adjust the carb better, so I will give that a shot while the OEM carb is getting rebuilt.

we'll start out with my first cruiser...a 70 fj40, and why ih8mud...this spot cost me two off road lights, one header and a shoe

next, is the lemon...back before it was the lemon....i still h8ed mud.

i also had an early pig, but don't have a good shots of it.

then there's the 68.

next came piggie number two, followed by the 77 that donated so much of it's life to the white 45, and, as much as i'd like to forget it, the evil "magoo" (the pic shows shawn with magoo...he bought it from a fellow club member, who bought it from another club member. then, he sold it to me, i sold it to treeroot, and treeroot sold it back to shawn.)

That's a bad ass pig! That '65 40 looks like it's in pretty damn good shape, too.
