Count me and Zack in Ted. I just got my TLCA membership in the mail and will be sending a check your way in the next week or two.. Zack is also gonna be a member by then ( as long as its ok with yall) so that is taken care of as far as memberships.
Also do you think a chainsaw would be good to bring. Think maybe there are down trees we could use as firewood? I do not think it would be a big deal as long as they were already down?

There goes the neighborhood. I hope you can make it. Copilot Olga and I are planning on going. Can we rent a suite in the PIMP HOUSE if it gets too cold? DD

Twinkie likes his coffin sized tent for these kinds of trips. That is assuming he even shows up.

You may show for this ride , you may not. It's a coin flip right now Spain? come on can't you come up with a better excuse than that for not showing up at Ralph's work day?

So are you still trying to get a possible 3 day ride? I would really like to make it a 3 day/2 night gig if possible. Its a damn 6hr drive for me and will already be on leave to take advantage of so. I am game for an extra day and coming back down to get the others that couldnt get there on Friday. Let me know what ya think.

3 days would be great and even preferred, I would expect that some (including myself) will be heading up on Friday sometime and then making arrangements for a Saturday group hookup. We still have not worked out the details and will be laid out in time.

May have run into major snag with new dates. My assistant is getting married 4/4 and unless I can talk her out of marrying this dude, I will be forced to attend. There is always a chance he may get cold feet.
Bummer !!!!!!!

I could always say I was kidnapped by a gang of Hooters girls and hauled off into the mountains and held against my will all weekend. Hummmm. I wonder if my copilot would also buy that.

Whatever works. We can dress Sylvain up again as a Hooters girl and have him throw you in the short bus.

Well we are finally getting a plan together. It's looking like 2 groups, a Friday group and a Saturday group. For ease of getting information out I keep the first post updated. Details will be covered at the meeting Tuesday, March 3.

So how much gas do you think is needed? Also any rules to cutting up ALREADY DOWNED trees for wood? I just do not have any firewood or really anywhere to put it thats why I am asking.

I'd throw an extra 5 gallons on the rig. We need enough firewood for 2 nights, I should have some to bring up so I make one contributor.
Regarding cutting downed trees, I can't say for sure but would probably refrain from doing so as time may not permit it anyway. One chainsaw in the group may be a good idea in case of downed trees on the road though.
