Whenever it is safe my friend, too many stray bullets out there for a guy in my line of work . Work really is the reason...just too much of it...well not too much of it, just too much when combined with family duties and holidays. Once the holidays come and go, there "should" be more time for play. Nothing like a snow run to pull me a way. Now just provide the snow . Maybe Morris Mountain will be doable. Only time will tell.
Now back to saving the world.

Morris Mtn beats the snot out of Gulches and is 1/3 the distance.
If I wasn't going to be in the land of Kiwi's and 70 series turbodiesel traybacks, I'd be coming fo sho.
Morris Mtn is a lot of fun, been a number of times.

If I am running I will go, but it would have to be warm and dry, because I won't have a top on the truck (assuming it is done).

hmmm. Josh and his room mate drove to Stonewall in an open 40 (with doors) when it was 24 degrees. Crazy, absolutely! but he did it.

If Steen goes I'll go as long as I can follow him through the trails to pick up spares for my rig...

Ted, Are there any cabins or motels in the neighborhood? Camping may be fun sometimes , but not alway so in Jan. (I got enough of that when I was in the Boy Scouts alllloooooonnnngggg time ago.) I may look like/act like I'm only 29, but I have to admit it ain't so. Don't get me wrong, I not as old as Henry !!!! After all, Henry is pre-dirt. DD

Well I sure as hell wasn't going to drive over the muffler... wouldn't have made a very good spare if I did that.
