Downhill Dave Build Day

We're building another cage. This time it's Downhill Dave and the mini. Should be a "simple" exo cage. It's currently scheduled for this Saturday @ 9AM.

Post up if your interested!

Do we have to help that guy? He doesn't even really wheel hard enough to need a cage.

3230 Ridge Road Buford GA 30519. Don't try to MapQuest directions because it won't take you to the right house. The only problem with our garage is it is going to be pretty tight with more then 5 or so people if people can't make it that won't be that big of a deal.

The easiest directions to the house is get off interstate 85 at the Hamilton Mill exit (exit 120) and go west I think. If going North on 85 you will take a left if you are driving south on 85 you will turn right. Follow that to Ridge road, which is just past a Kroger shopping center, and take a left. 3230 will be on the right after the new subdivision.

I would really like to come help, but not enough advanced notice for me.

I also know that if Dan were in the country, he would want to come help because of all the help with his truck. However, he is in Germany and that's a bit too much of a commute for one day.

pretty much got it knocked out. His existing roll bar was not connected to the frame so we had to do that first. Then add the halo over the cab, added a post down each pillar to the sliders and then the final piece across the back of the hood just below the windshield. The build ran into Sunday as DD, John and then later in the day myself put in the finishing touches. We then pulled off the cage for final welds and paint over the next week or so. Came out well I think, I'm sure DD will debut it at the annual.
