May be moving to Miami from Los Angeles

Sorry to hear you're moving to Miami . . .it's gawd aweful crowded.

NWFLCA is in the panhandle region; north & west FL ( Tallahassee to Pensicola ) where the better trails are...

I belong to FLCA , rest of state :-)

Live in Palm Beach county & am sick of the crowding...
South Fl is flat, wet ( that part which isn't paved) , flat, no hills, flat ( did I say flat ? ).

Cool climbing could be had on the Hiway overpasses . . .

There's also trying to navagate thru the boot-sucken mud on the border of the 'Glades swamp area . . .

Except that alot of that has been shut down now. You are in for some serious wheeling withdrawal, the good news is I'm an hour or so away so we can cry in our beer together.

And depending on which beach ya go to, scenary may not be as nice as whit ( I think) is on Kali beaches . . .Although South Beach at mid-night is awesome

How are the smog laws in Florida?

It varies from county to county. Here we don't have them, I believe Dade does but I don't think they're to stringent from what I've seen.
