Meeting on the weekend of the 14th on Ocala!

Apparently a big 4x4 gathering is plan for the weekend of the 14th of this month in Ocala National Forest. Last year more than 300 vehicles showed up, Cruisers Jeeps, Rovers, Fords, and so on! So if anyone is interested let me know and I can try to get more info for you. I will be leaving Miami Friday the 14th and driving back home Monday the 17th. It would be cool to meet in person some of the people from the board!

The 'big meet' is Florida 4 Wheel Drive Assoc. ( www.FL4WDA.com) annual meeting.

FWIW : they have been working with the Forest Service to keep Ocala NF open for us . . .

Florida land Cruiser Assoc ( www.flca.org ) is a 'supporting' club . . .

Now, as to whether or not I'll be there . . .

I'd very much like to...

bit scared about my xfer...4wd is out,,,,to much grumbling from xfer ( front out shaft bearing is hurt)
I 'think' my rear output shaft bearings are very worn....
parts on order, don't know if I'll get it done by then...
Concerned about travelling much further than my AAA+ "tow me home" plan covers :-)

The FL4WDA Meeting will also have a Sat night BBQ dinner ( $5), proceed support FL4WDA continuing deliberations with the National Forest System.

If you dining with them,. bring a side dish....the BBQ is the 'meat portion'

Yea we are, either Saturday or Sunday. Not sure yet!
