My For Sale Thread
I need to keep some of this stuff posted up, as I'm short on storage space having too many projects right now...all parts located in WPB, Florida. Can ship some, arrange for SC or NFL delivery on others.
Running boards $50. Multiple 4.11 diffs. One course spline $75, One fine spline $125 (SOLD), One with ARB $800, One FJ80 4.11 Ring and Pinion with bearings and hardware (used) $75, one course spline dirty as all get out $40. Maybe a few more. SOLD 4x4 Labs High Steer Arms (SOLD): These are $300 new, plus I had em powder coated. Small pattern knuckles for pre 79 FJ40's - set up for SOA conversion with a low profile shackle reversal. Two pair of knuckles included - one passenger side has two studs broke off in it ;-). Jerry/Bob have first right of refusal. SOLD One pair of stock small pattern steering arms - trade for your equally worthless krap or maybe free to good home. SOLD One pair of large pattern knuckles. $50 firm. SOLD Jerry is taking them. FJ40 t-case ($300 obo): Disassembled - original OEM 1974 transition case, 4-speed housing (good casting strength) with 3-speed gears (2.31 versus later 1.99 ratio). Great condition with front output - no disk brake assembly. Convert your wimpy 1.99 to a 2.31 for cheap. FJ40 16 spline 2.31 gearset t-case input gear - used with 74 to 79 4-speed transmissions to run earlier 2.31 gearsets ($50 with above case, included free with case below). Both cases come with a 10 spline input which can be used with stock 3-speed transmissions OR SM420 and SM465's. SOLD FJ40 t-case ($400 firm): 2.31 gear set shimmed into a later model stronger 4-speed case (aka a homemade 74 transition case). Rebuilt about 5 years ago with all new bearings, seals and idler shaft. Built and currently installed - come test it out. Comes with a 10 spline input gear. Drivers side SOLD - Still have pass. side - FJ40 Pair of OEM fenders ($200 obo): Bought new 8 years ago - left side near perfect, painted OEM mustard yellow with a few nicks and dings (minor), the left side suffered from a roll, but could be repaired. Both are 100% rust free. ALL SOLD FJ40 axle shafts - most all rears and fronts: $25 each - git yr spares. Down to one short side (early), two front longs and one short (has a birf - add $25 if you want it). ALL SOLD FJ60 axle shafts - most all rears and fronts: $25 each - git yr spares. GONE to Steve FL Cruiser. FJ40 4" angle rock sliders ($75 obo). Mount to tub using 5 stock running board bolt holds (allows you to bolt running boards back on) and one additional hole to be drilled at rear of doorway bottom edge (same plane as running board holes). Includes backside reinforcing square tubing. Bend around part of tub in front of rear wheelwells (see various pictures on Land Crusher 4x4 - ARB Air Lockers & Bull Bars, Safari Snorkels, OME Suspension - Real Off-Road 2007 tellico pics). SOLD FJ40 Pair of new hood hold down hooks ($20) - glass black - nice. SOLD - to the Kanadian ;-) GONE FJ60 front window glass - free to good home. GONE to Steve FL Cruiser FJ40 SUA housing - free to good home. Early FJ40 air cleaners ($50 obo, or free to dues paying members of FLCA or UC): What you need to install a snorkle - home made or aftermarket. FJ60 3.73 diff housing ($75 obo): Good as is, or good for your core build up. Lots of other bits I'll list later. Want to sell this stuff, but a few items I won't budge too far on - will just clean, box and stuff in the attic for my relatives to have to sort thru some day .

I can paypal or money order the funds to you. Just need to figure out pickup or when we might cross paths. Steve __________________ 81 HJ60 Costa Rica Cruiser 82 FJ60 Trail Rig. Bill:
Saw in another thread that you were looking at an Orion T-case. You're getting that from Advanced Adapters, right? Shoot me an email at my timco address. We need to talk.

Ok. You can paypal me $100 for the axles at see PM. I edited my post above to make it clear I'm talking axle shafts - not the entire axle. Let me know if that's what you were thinking. If not, bummer - I gave away a complete set earlier this year.
Why don't you see if Pete is going to the Lakeland run - he could drop them to Jerry D and that way at least they'd be in Hollywood Hills. Otherwise, I can drop them off to Luis house next time I'm in downtown Orlando - which will prolly be sometime in next month or so, if that works for you. I still have that Dana 60 in Asheville that I need pick up if it's not too late. Supposed to have a 4.11 chunk, moser shafts and disc brakes. We could work a trade for that if you're interested.... __________________ "The devil made me do it the first time. The second time I done it on my own." |

Tell me more about the 4.11's, Jamie could use those in her FJ60...

The 4.11 gear set out of the FJ80 is nice (newer plus fine spline), and the seller included all the FJ80 bearings, bolts, etc. If you can set up a diff - this is a great deal. The other fine spline is supposedbly out of an FJ62 - but it has a square flange on it - it has the larger nut (I know as I don't have a socket for it) so it's most likely a fine spline FJ62 4.11 (better as less wheeling miles right). The 4.11 rear currently in my 40 - actually an original that sat as I had a different diff built up with the ARB - ended up loaning to Todd R. a few years ago and then didn't get it back for a year (or two?) and then bolted in last GSMTR (or the one before - heck I don't remember). It's course spline. The fourth one is that greasy 4.11 course spline I loaned to Luis last GMSTR (or one before - dang getting old). The fifth and last one is the course spline 4.11 with ARB (in front but don't know if it's also for SF? - I think it is) - that I will sell for $100 plus the replacement cost of an ARB (have OrangeFJ45 pricing me one just in case). If it doesn't sell - I am removing the ARB and having built up with new 4.56's - then you have an unassembled 4.11 diff - good shape, but less valuable. Hope this helps. Some aren't available until after the NFCH lilly livered run this weekend ![]() Good to hear from you Jer! __________________ "The devil made me do it the first time.
