SkunkWerks
Okay you guys - post up the action from the SkunkWerks!
What's everybody doing to get ready for GSMTR?
Me? I've got:
- 12V on-board air with a 4gal tank
- Florescent domelight/worklight with extension cord ala Capt. Jim
- Rocklights almost finished (fronts in, rears tonight maybe)
- Hand throttle done and works great
- 12V cordless drill wired with battery clamps for trail use
Will be buying some steel next week for sliders and a skid plate (maybe a wrap-bar too).

I'm just counting the days...
Did add a Toy Box, got some spare parts, challenged the WPB guys to meet on Lower 2, and will try out the Toy Box in Texas next month...

Got a "new" used CCOT repro gas tank yesterday. Time to sell the poly tank.
Anybody want a poly tank?

What's wrong with the Poly? Does it leak vapours?

Not really - the plastic means you can't over-tighten any bolts around the sending unit and the brass fittings on it needed some assistance in sealing.
I think I had to replace one of the screws around the sending unit with a larger one already.
It's so slick that even RTV doesn't work well.
All-in-all it was a more economical replacement for an old leaking stock tank that I had several years ago.
Bill - check your PM's...
