Pickup and Delivery - FLCA MLK Weekend?

Guessing that there is an FLCA event on MLK weekend.

Delivery - Pete is delivering some FJ60 door panels that I donated - going to the Dixons and he said he would deliver Jerry's rear axles as well (will pull this weekend).

Pick Up - Pete can you bring back a Confer tool box for me - Eric D. might be in attendance and could pass it off to you then. If he doesn't go - is there anyone close by that could pick it up from Eric's and deliver to Pete so I could get it back down to PBC???

Thanks in advance. Bill.

Where does Eric live? The MLK is a FL4WD event but there will be some FLCA brethren there.

Hey Bill,

There will be a FLCA run on MLK weekend. The notice is posted on our web site, and has been on the BBD since 12/22.

Lower 2 is waiting for us...

Now I'm confused. The MLK FLCA deal is at okylawahahahaha campground right? The lower 2 comment sounds like something from the wild and adventerous tellico

Bill: Trying to sort out a duckhunting weekend with my uncle. Don't know if I will be there or not.

I'm in the Gainesville area.

If I don't go to the run, I might be able to bring the box down or have Sandy bring it down and drop it off. we really aren't that far away from the ONF.

Eric. Lets not force anything - a good solution will come along . Worst case you drop with your Pop and I'll pick up in late January.

Lower 2 comment - Jerry is giving me heck for not finishing my krap last year and not being able to run Lower 2. I'm am expected to be in tip top shape this year and ready to hammer and roll with the FLCA group. Come join us - I promise a show .

We'll figure something out and get it to you sooner rather than later. I am sort of harboring a desire to make this run anyway...

Oh and for lower 2 - I will be making my first attempt this year so see you there!

Jerry, that would be driving a stright line across the okywaaaa camp running over trucks and anything else along the path. ...I think people would understand.
Not sure if any of my rigs will hit the hard stuff at tellico but I may trail along to witness the carnage.

Hey, Bill:

Not going to make the run, but may plan to drive down to visit and drop off the box if I'm not shooting ducks. I'll keep you posted.

Paging Pete - you able to take box south for me (pretty please)?

Bill won't be there to entertain us with it - I'll have to take some to GSMTR and give to him then.

Bill - you remember the Jiffy Pop?

Hey Bill:

Eric here (under Sandy's login).

The box was left with Pete today. Had a nice day riding the trails and geocaching with the gang.

The lock is a little worn on the box - it no longer stops at the detents at open and closed. You have to turn it and then find the right placed where the key will come out. I had gotten a replacement lockset that I 'borrowed' from work, but it was not the right size so I could not replace it. Let me know if that is a problem or if it bothers you and I'll make it right.

Eric

Had a great time, Pete! It's always nice to see the 'family' and relax a bit in the forest.

Thanks, Pete!

Bill - let me know if it meets your expectations. If not, we'll work it out.

Glad you like it - did Pete explain the hardware that was inside? At one point, I was going to mount it on those aluminum spacers so that it sat about .5" above the floor so water/mud/sand could be cleaned out from under it and not rot the bottom of it out. Do with it what you will.

I'll shoot you an email...
