By the way, if anyone wants a GM 6.1LV8, tranny, and transfer case let me know. It is just a little too big for me right now.

I just picked up a 85 FJ60 from Rum Bum - you can have the engine, yours to pull. Condition unknown and it needs a carb, dizzy and all front end belts and pulleys - did I mention it's free . I'll the bellhousing, tranny and t-case and all shift linkage, etc. for $200. I'd pull the tranny and t-case - but you'd have to do everything else. Tell you what - if you've got a trailer you can have it all - sans the axles and whatever else I'm parting. Located in WPB Florida.

I won't be able to take the trip until mid January, would that be OK with you?

If you bought the the transmission and t-case in advance I'd hold onto it for you. I think I even have a 2F valve cover an gasket I'd throw in, as well as an older style 2F dizzy. I am just parting the axles and a few misc. items - so you'd get the whole thing sitting on springs and empty axle housings. Might have some other stuff as well - I don't want this sitting here very long, it's an eyesore - heck, I know Todd is happy to get it out of his yard ;-) and I will be too.
Let me know soon - getting mails on the shifters, intake, exhaust, etc. and other stuff you might want. I'd rather not be yanking the stuff if someone else wants the whole driveline.
You do have a trailer right?

I also have a 77 4-speed and t-case I sold for $250 two years ago. The guy never came to pick it up and I cannot track him down. I'd include that for $125 - with the express acknowledged agreement that if he ever shows up in the next year or so - we each pay him $125 back, OR less, depending on how much time elapses. It's been sitting at my parents, and even thought they've got a ton of property - they're getting a little irked.
Potential good karma deal for you.
I'd throw in a Centerforce clutch disk that's lying in the garage as well...

I think I found a truck Harold but I'll keep you in mind.
For those of you who don't know my cruiser is in 3000 pieces and coming from the ground up. My other car is a Miata and I can't go get many engines in that.

Well - if it's anything of an enticement, I'll give you the whole engine, bellhousing, tranny and t-case if you come get the whole parts truck. I want this thing gone - local wreckers will take it for free, but I don't feel like taking the time to pull these parts and would rather see em go to a good cause. Stock 4-speed to a split case is a good setup - you'd be happy . Just find someone with a trailer willing to pick it up - I could easily winch it off my trailer onto something. Going to Orlando weekend of MLK - could bring it that far for gas money...
Food for thought.

Sounds good. Let me know you're serious - I don't want to have this lying around too long and can finish stripping it this coming weekend and have hauled away. Will hold and bring up for MLK if you can make arrangements to get it and buy me a tank of diesel for the effort . Comes with the title .

Please respond to my PM on this - others are inquiring, and I just want it gone. My Pop can deliver this for $300.

Alright guys, I got a tranny and case lined up (Thanks Sputnik), now I need a 2F. If some one out there wants to get rid of one, just reply. I would love it if I can pick it up this weekend. I will be in the Orlando Area. Thanks
