Looks like the couple shaft between the steering column and the steering box. It looks a little long for a '55, but I'm not an expert. How long is it?

Unless the late late model FJ55's steering shaft changed, that is not from an FJ55. The FJ55 u-joints up to at least 77/78 were larger than those.

Either an FJ55 or a 60-62, I see you own a 62, take it out and compare them.

It looks similar to a 55 steering shaft, but I don't it is.

i dont think its 55 either, 55 is welded instead of the 3rd clamp this one has, plus it looks to have a flat edge.

yea there is no way what I have is from, a 55 not nearly that beefy,,, ooooppps there it goes into the scrap pile,,,
